Do you want to make bank? Do you want to drive a Range Rover? Well, we’ve got some good news for you. The Catalina Wine Mixer, the biggest helicopter-leasing event in the Western Hemisphere since 1997, is actually going to take place later this month on Catalina Island, and you can be there. POW.

On Sunday, September 13, 2015, Descanso Beach Club on Catalina Island will host the 1st Annual Catalina Wine Mixer. Unfortunately, 80s-era Billy Joel tribute band Uptown Girl wasn’t available, but they will have music from The Dan Band (Old School, The Hangover), plus food and, of course, wine.

If you think you’re ready to run with the bulls, you can purchase VIP tickets for $100 that gets you a souvenir wine glass, access to the VIP Hospitality Suite, access to a private bar, private wine tasting, and complimentary food stations. General admission tickets are also available for $35. (Neither price point includes access to the island, so you’ll have to buy a ferry ticket separately.) Oddly enough, there does not seem to be a screening of Step Brothers at any point, which feels like a missed opportunity.

Island Express Helicopters is also one of the sponsors of the event, so if you’ve been earnin’ and burning’ and you’re looking to buy or lease a helicopter, this is a pretty big deal.

Whether or not there will be future Catalina Wine Mixers depends on the success of this year’s event, but any Step Brothers fan in the area may want to stop by and see what it’s all about. After all, it’s the Catalina F—ing Wine Mixer. For more information and tickets, check out the official site here.
