Nerdist creator and fan-favorite podcaster Chris Hardwick has been enjoying an increasingly lucrative partnership with AMC, in everything from the recently-expanded 'Talking Dead' talk show, likely to branch out into a 'Talking Bad' talkback for 'Breaking Bad's final episodes as well. Now Hardwick has gotten even deeper, as AMC has officially partnered with Nerdist in an ongoing development deal, the first aim of which will likely be to turn web short 'All-Star Celebrity Bowling' into a full series! Find out what Hardwick will be up to on AMC next!

Fans of AMC series like 'The Walking Dead' and 'Breaking Bad' have likely heard of Nerdist's 'All-Star Celebrity Bowling' shorts, which frequently feature the cast of AMC TV series competing against the Nerdist podcasters in playing for charity. Now, Deadline reports that a TV version of the series will likely move forward, at least as an initial special, as Chris Hardwick has inked a development deal with the cable network.

In addition to a potential 'All-Star Celebrity Bowling' TV series, Nerdist’s YouTube channel will also begin showing bonus footage from 'Talking Dead' that doesn't make it into the newly-expanded one-hour broadcasts.“This is a great way for us to expand our relationship with Chris and Nerdist, and we love the multi-platform synergy on a project like this,” said AMC Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Production & Digital Content Joel Stillerman. Adds Hardwick, “It has always been one of our main goals with Nerdist to grow content in the digital garden of the Internet which we could then evolve onto other platforms.”
