Though filming is under way, 'A Good Day to Die Hard' - the fifth film in the 'Die Hard' franchise - just added Cole Hauser as their main baddie. Hauser is best known for his supporting work in films like 'Pitch Black,' 'Dazed and Confused,' 'Good Will Hunting' and - to bad movie lovers everywhere - the villain in '2 Fast 2 Furious.'

This comes from Deadline, who note that the character's name he's playing is called Collins. Which doesn't sound Russian at all. Having not heard Hauser's Russian accent, it sounds like his villain won't even be Russian. If he is American, it emphasizes that this is a very budget conscious sequel.

The movie is set to come out on Valentine's day in 2013, and has Bruce Willis's John McClane meeting up with his son (Jai Courtney) in Russia and then there's going to be some fighting, punching, and probably kicking. It's being directed by John Moore, who - though has shown promise - seems to accept whatever film 20th Century Fox throws at him, from the remake of 'The Omen' to 'Max Payne.'

There's nothing about the casting or anything about this movie that is in any way remotely exciting, and the film is also likely to follow the fourth film in having a PG-13 rating. But the fourth film made way more internationally than it did stateside, and this film points out that Hollywood is chasing the global dollars now more than ever. No word if it's also in 3-D.
