Comic-Con 2013: ‘How I Met Your Mother’ to Make First (and Last) Appearance

More and more each year, the hardcore San Diego Comic-Con loyalists bemoan the presence of TV and movies that have little to do with comics or comic culture at large, but in this case, we don't mind one bit. 'How I Met Your Mother' will make its first (and only) appearance as a panel at Comic-Con 2013,  but which stars will be in attendance, and what can we see from the final season?

Fortunately, CBS has decided to go all-out on its 'How I Met Your Mother' panel, including all five regular cast members Neil Patrick Harris, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Alyson Hannigan and Josh Radnor, as well as executive producers Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Pamela Fryman. Dollars to doughnuts, we'd bet on a "surprise" appearance from newly-minted series regular, and the mother herself, Cristin Milioti as well.

More than that, we can think of at least one other reason why Cobie Smulders might be present for a panel or two at Comic-Con 2013. In any case, it's difficult to judge what the 'How I Met Your Mother' cast might bring to Comic-Con, as July seems a mite early for any new footage of the final season, but we'll be on hand to bring the news straight to you regardless.
