Cosplay of the Day: Sally Sure Is One Swell Doll

Sally, from Henry Selick's 'The Nightmare Before Christmas,' was a rag doll created by Dr. Finklestein, who had a huge crush on Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King. Today, we honor this noble character with her own spot as a Cosplay of the Day!

Though she's stuffed with dead leaves, Sally is one of the warmest creatures in 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' and pines for Jack Skellington. She gets her wish to be with him when they share a kiss on Spiral Hill, making for one of the most iconic scenes in movie history.

This is ShlachinaPolina, a cosplayer from Russia, in a very spot-on Sally costume. If we didn't know any better, we could have sworn that she stitched herself together. Everything from the hair, the blue makeup and even the stitching is represented with great care and accuracy. In fact, even her facial structure kind of matches that of Sally's, making for a very impressive cosplay.
