Cosplay of the Day: Shredder and April, Sittin’ in a Tree…

Here's something you probably never thought you'd see: 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' villain Shredder and roving reporter April O'Neil living in wedded bliss.

Daniela-Chris is a lady from the Ukraine who is totally into 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' and their big bad guy, Shredder. So she put together this pretty sharp costume on her own and had her friend Anna dress up as April O'Neil. Together, the pair pose for some great photos that call to mind those Sears or Olan Mills family portraits. Bonus: they have a little Krang to pose as their baby!

It's bizarrely adorable and also kind of hilarious? Especially when paired with a couple of the other photos Daniela-Chris has of herself as Shredder, just kind of goofing around. We're not sure where she got this brilliant idea for the family-style portraits, but we'd love to see more cosplayers pair up and do the same. Maybe Black Widow and Red Skull with a little Agent Coulson baby? Just throwing out some ideas here.
