Doctor Who has plenty of excitement in the nearby future, between this weekend’s upcoming Season 9 finale, and the potential for Peter Jackson to direct an episode, leaving the upcoming Christmas special in between. And before we get “Hell Bent,” Check out the first Baymax-looking poster for The Doctor and River Song’s Christmas reunion, along with the official title!

We wouldn’t wager that The Doctor and River will come to blows with a giant red robot (Murder Santa, anyone?), though The BBC released our first official key art for “The Husbands of River Song,” also confirming the title. For those wondering, about the timeline, Peter Capaldi’s Doctor will encounter a River after Rory and Amy’s 2012 goodbye, but before her own end in 2013's “The Name of the Doctor.”

So reads the official “Husbands of River Song” synopsis:

It’s Christmas Day on a remote human colony and the Doctor is hiding from Christmas Carols and Comedy Antlers. But when a crashed spaceship calls upon the Doctor for help, he finds himself recruited into River Song’s squad and hurled into a fast and frantic chase across the galaxy.

King Hydroflax (Greg Davies) is furious, and his giant Robot bodyguard is out-of-control and coming for them all. Will Nardole (Matt Lucas) survive? And when will River Song work out who the Doctor is?

We’ll likely catch a trailer (along with a few surprises) this coming weekend with the Season 9 finale, but take a look at the poster above, and prepare to celebrate the Christmas special with Doctor Who once more.
