It’s a big day in the wizarding world of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which has revealed our first official look (first look ever, actually) at Ezra Miller’s mysterious character from the upcoming Harry Potter spinoff. But that’s not the only news, as the film has made a last-minute addition to the cast, with Mad Max: Fury Road star Zoe Kravitz joining the lineup in a small, but reportedly crucial role.

We’ll start with Kravitz, whom THR reports has joined the cast of Fantastic Beasts in a brief part that will be added in post-production. Details of her specific role haven’t been disclosed, and though it’s said to be small, the character has the potential to return with a much more substantial part in the sequel.

Next we have our first official look at Ezra Miller’s character in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly:

EW has more details on Miller’s character, who has been mysteriously absent from the trailers and marketing until now. The actor plays Clarence Barebone (THAT NAME!), a socially awkward boy who suffers abuse at the hands of his mother, Mary Lou. Played by Samantha Morton, Mary Lou is the zealous leader of an anti-wizarding organization determined to kickstart the next Salem Witch Trials. As you can see in the photo above, Clarence and his haircut are in the company of the nefarious Percival Graves, played by Colin Farrell.

Harry Potter vet David Yates directed Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them from a screenplay by author J.K. Rowling, who recently completed the script for the sequel. Here’s the official synopsis for the first installment, which stars Eddie Redmayne as magizoologist Newt Scamander:

“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident… were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.

The film also stars Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler and Carmen Ejogo, and hits theaters on November 18.
