You’d be forgiven not to have seen Han Solo star Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s buzzed-about Amazon Fleabag, though at six episodes on Amazon Prime, we can’t recommend the binge enough. There’s good news in store for fans of the blackly comedic take on a twenty-or-thirty-something London woman, as Waller-Bridge says a second season could arrive as early as 2018.

Waller-Bridge revealed as much to the UK’s RadioTimes, adding that production was likely to begin in November, with a goal to air in 2018. The former one-woman show star wanted only to consider Season 2 with “an idea that was good enough,” and now states “I think I have one.”

For those unfamiliar with the series, the six-episode Fleabag follows Waller-Bridge as an unnamed fourth-wall breaking protagonist living in London, and running a café after the death of her best friend and business partner. Fleabag also stars Sian Clifford as her sister Claire, Hugh Skinner as ex-boyfriend Harry, Broadchurch and The Night Manager star Olivia Colman as her stepmother, and comedian Brett Gelman as friend Martin.

All episodes are available to stream on Amazon Prime, while you can watch the trailer below, and stay tuned for more on Fleabag Season 2.
