It remains to be seen if an eighth season of the sci-fi funnies series will be produced on Comedy Central, but the back half of season 7 will hit this summer with 13 all-new episodes, the first of which are previewed in a new full-length trailer! There's no need to wait until the summer for all-new 'Futurama,' considering it's already happening in the future anyway. Following its debut at a live 'Futurama' event in San Francisco, new footage has emerged from the coming run of episodes, courtesy of Vulture! The new run of episodes act as the second half of the show's seventh season, likely making a summer debut on Comedy Central

There's a lot to take in from the new trailer, but some highlights include always-welcome modifications to the famous Planet Express ship, acting both as a fire truck and a hot rod, the return of such fan favorites as Calculon and Fry's tear-inducing dog Seymour, and a host of new sci-fi parodies from 'Planet of the Apes' to 'The Thing.'
