It’s been almost two years since we first heard Simpsons and Futurama creator Matt Groening had in mind to develop a Netflix animated series, and we’re finally seeing the results. The cast of Futurama will reunite for adult fairy tale Disenchanted, featuring a Broad City favorite and more.

Back in August, voice actor extraordinaire Billy West began posting audio clips of his Futurama character Zapp Brannigan, a sort of Captain Kirk if Captain Kirk was a total dope, reading actual quotes from Presidential candidate Donald Trump. It was an unsettlingly perfect fit.

Scavenger of the internet you are, you may have seen some eerily apt memes placing Donald Trump quotes in the voice of Futurama braggadocio connoisseur Zapp Brannigan. What better way to follow that, than for the man behind the man himself to actually record said quotes? Billy West, you American hero.

Despite failing to outlive its progenitor, Futurama joined the ranks of Matt Groening’s iconic animated works to follow The Simpsons, and Netflix may have given both another sibling. Reports confirm Groening is readying a new animated series for Netflix, though the concept remains under lock and key.
