Get Creepy With New ‘Dark Shadows’ Character Posters

With recent trailer debuts for Tim Burton's 'Frankenweenie' and 'Dark Shadows,' it was only a matter of time before the spook master graced us with more delightful imagery from the latter, which releases in May.

Empire has the debut of nine new character posters from 'Dark Shadows,' Burton's update on the vampire soap classic. If you think that's excessive, you clearly aren't familiar with Burton. The film follows Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp), a man hit with a vampiric curse who awakens decades later in the 70s and joins his family in a fish out of water tale.

It seems Burton has refreshingly returned to his kooky, eerie form as of late, and these character posters highlight a nuance he's lacked in recent years. Empire has the rest of the cast, including Jackie Earle Haley and Michelle Pfeiffer.
