One of the most underrated and undervalued comedies in the last decade is 'MacGruber,' a feature film based on the SNL character played by Will Forte that was a riot from start to finish. While fans may not get a sequel anytime soon (as in never since it tanked at the box office), at least 'MacGruber' director and Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone is staying busy and is going to direct 'The Great Unknown,' based on the Image comic book.

THR reports that Michael Starrbury will write a script for New Line Cinema based on the comic book about, "a slacker with delusions of grandeur who believes his so-called great ideas are popping up elsewhere. After failing to convince his friends and family that his mind is being pilfered, he goes on a quest to solve the mystery behind the idea thefts."

No word yet on who will play the lead but if Will Forte happens to be available then it's already going to be a crowd pleaser. We'll keep you updated on the progress of 'The Great Unknown.'
