Kate Winslet Wins Best Supporting Actress For ‘Steve Jobs’ at 2016 Golden Globes
Kate Winslet won Best Supporting Actress for Steve Jobs at the 2016 Golden Globe awards.
Winslet portrays Joanna Hoffman in Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs, which follows Michael Fassbender as the titular tech mogul over the course of three product launches. Winslet beat out Jane Fonda for Youth, Jennifer Jason Leigh for The Hateful Eight, Helen Mirren for Trumbo and Alicia Vikander for Ex Machina. This is her fourth Golden Globe.
The actress took the stage and thanked her co-stars, Boyle and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin. Winslet added, “What an incredible year for women in film.”
Last year, Patricia Arquette won Best Supporting Actress for Boyhood.
