'Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall' is currently in production in Toronto, Canada, and a new video taken on set has revealed a first look at Jim Carrey in action -- sorta -- as his "Colonel Stars" character.

The video itself doesn't provide a ton of excitement, unless actors in superhero costumes standing around and waiting for "action to be called" can be considered exciting, but it still provides us with a good look at Carrey in character in the highly-anticipated sequel.

Carrey is joined in the scene by Kick-Ass himself, Aaron Johnson, as well as Lindy Booth as "Night Bitch" and Robert Emms as "Insect Man." In the Mark Millar-written comic series, Colonel Stars is an ex-Mafia enforcer who finds religion and decides to become a costumed vigilante, eventually forging a crime-fighting crew called 'Justice Forever.'

Directed by Jeff Wadlow, 'Kick-Ass 2' also stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo and Morris Chestnut. It is scheduled to open on June 28, 2013.
