Comic-Con 2015 taught us that we needn’t say goodbye to The Legend of Korra (or the Avatar-verse) forever, following announcements of a sequel graphic novel, but fans of Bryan Konietzko and Mike DiMartino’s animated epic have even more reason to celebrate. Not only will Korra get a full Blu-ray and DVD release, but so too have we the first key art.

Following announcements that the full Avatar: The Last Airbender series would get its own release on DVD (with a mammoth 16 discs), co-creator Konietzko confirmed today over Tumblr (h/t IGN)  that Korra would receive treatment for both Blu-ray and DVD, by way of the official cover art.

No release date, nor features have yet been confirmed, though we at least know that Avatar: The Last Airbender will see an October 6 debut. Similarly, neither Konietzko nor DiMartino have confirmed any release or specs on the Dark Horse Korra continuation, though the Blu-ray / DVD release will hopefully tide fans over in the interim.

Both Korra creators also have additional projects in the works, but what should we hope for from a Legend of Korra Blu-ray or DVD? Check out the artwork again above, and stay tuned for the latest on the full release.
