Netflix’s ‘Gilmore Girls’ Revival Gets a ‘Year’-ly Title and First Poster
Now that Netflix’s long-awaited Gilmore Girls revival has wrapped production with the majority of its former cast, fans are awash with hype for the actual premiere. Netflix has yet to set a date, but we’ll soon have Gilmore Girls all year round, judging by the official title and its poster.
Netflix released the first official poster for the newly-named Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, formerly rumored as Gilmore Girls: Seasons for its four-part seasonal focus. There’s no sign of the cast just yet, but who couldn’t use a nice coffee?
And a still version:
Wrapped with production, Gilmore Girls has confirmed to return Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Jared Padalecki, Milo Ventimiglia, Melissa McCarthy, Matt Czuchry, Liza Weil, Yanic Truesdale, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop, Sean Gunn, and Keiko Agena, among many others. Original producers Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino will once again be at the helm, having left the final year in a dispute with Warner Bros.
Netflix has yet to confirm either a 2016 premiere for the 90-minute episodes, but what other Gilmore Girls surprises might we expect along the way?
