In this golden age of cancelled TV revivals, soon to feature new 'Arrested Development' episodes as a Kickstarter-funded 'Veronica Mars' movie goes before cameras, series from 'Pushing Daisies' to 'Chuck' are jockeying to be reborn again. To our great surprise, it seems cancelled CW gem 'Reaper' has beaten them to the punch, with a reunion special soon to air on FearNet!

'Reaper' fans have been waiting a long time for news of a potential reunion special for the cult series, and it seems FearNet may finally grant their wish. Deadline revealed yesterday that the horror channel had purchased the rights to air both seasons of the cancelled cult comedy starring 'Twin Peaks' Ray Wise as the devil himself, setting a June 4 premiere.

Along with the broadcast of all 31 episodes, FearNet will produce a half-hour reunion special for the series, reuniting stars Wise, Bret Harrison, Tyler Labine and others to discuss the series’ enduring popularity after cancellation, finale and community of fans in a round-table format. “Many 'Reaper' viewers feel the show left too early, so we hope that they will enjoy our plans for the series and our Reaper reunion special,” said Sarah Shannon, VP Programming and Network Operations at FearNet.

For those unfamiliar with the series, 'Reaper' lasted two seasons on The CW and starred Bret Harrison as college dropout Sam Oliver, who discovers on his 21st birthday that his parents sold his soul years earlier, and he must work as a bounty hunter for the Devil (Wise) to return escaped souls.

Well, what say you, 'Reaper' fans? Are you excited to see a reunion special on FearNet, even if it doesn't lead to new episodes?
