'SNL' may have taken a break this past weekend after the curious Bruce Willis-Katy Perry installment, but the NBC staple will return this Saturday for another experiment in first-time host Edward Norton, along with musical guest Janelle Monae. The first promos for Norton's Saturday hosting gig have hit, complete with requisite 'Fight Club' references, but are they a good sign of things to come?

Incorporating the usual manic insanity and costume changes, Norton's first 'SNL' promos alongside Bobby Moynihan play up the Halloween aspect of the weekend, sneaking in a few shots at Norton's 'Fight Club' classic for good measure. Norton has appeared in cameo on the show before, and while it wouldn't seem as if the 'Grand Budapest Hotel' star has anything real to promote this time around, we're excited to see what he can do for 'SNL.' Hopefully, it goes a bit better than his last attempt at an ensemble piece.

Upcoming weeks for ‘SNL’ season 39 will see 'Scandal' star Kerry Washington host with Eminem as musical guest, while later installments of the season will also supposedly return Lady Gaga to the stage. New for the season are cast additions Brooks Wheelan, Mike O’Brien, John Milhiser, actress Noël Wells, and “Good Neighbor” performers Kyle Mooney and Beck Bennett, all of whom stepped in to replace the departed Bill Hader, Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis. Additionally, Cecily Strong is also expected to take over the “Weekend Update” desk from Seth Meyers after his 2014 ‘Late Night’ departure.

Hit the player up top as hard as you can for the latest 'SNL' promos with Edward Norton, and tell us in the comments if you'll tune in to see the first-time hosting gig!
