SNL Sets ‘Avengers 2’ Star Scarlett Johansson as the First May Host

SNL will let the Empire cool its heels a bit after Taraji P Henson dropped Cookie all over the stage this weekend, but May 2 will bring out the big guns in the wake of Avengers: Age of Ultron. The Black Widow herself, Scarlett Johansson will take the SNL stage for a fourth time as our first May host.

SNL announced Johansson’s return during Taraji P. Henson’s hosting, though no musical guest has yet been decided for Johansson’s fourth outing. Johansson will also arrive one day after the release of Avengers: Age of Ultron, though as with Chris Hemsworth’s appearance in March, a few vague spoilers may lie on deck.

Johansson has previously hosted in 2006, 2007 and 2010, with Death Cab for Cutie, Bjork and Arcade Fire, respectively. As one of the final Season 40 installments, can we expect any other Avenger apperarances? What will Scarlett Johansson bring to the table in her fourth SNL outing on May 2?
