Do you want to star in 'Star Wars: Episode 7'? No, seriously. Today, J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm announced one of the biggest 'Star Wars' contests ever, with the grand prize including being cast as an original character in 'Star Wars: Episode 7'. So, what do you need to do to win?

This morning, J.J. Abrams announced the "Force for Change" campaign, designed to help children around the world through the Lucasfilm's collaboration with UNICEF Innovation Labs and projects. Said Abrams in a video statement from the 'Star Wars: Episode 7' set:

We’re thrilled to offer a chance to come behind the scenes as our VIP guests and be in Star Wars: Episode 7. We’re even more excited that by participating in this campaign, Star Wars fans will be helping children around the world.

This is where you come in. The campaign begins today and runs until until 11:59pm PST on July 18th. For each $10 contribution made directly at, eligible participants will be automatically entered for a chance to win this once-in-a-lifetime experience. Are you ready for this?

The Star Wars: Force for Change Grand Prize includes:

- Airfare and accommodations to London for one winner and a guest
- Behind-the-scenes access on the closed set of Star Wars: Episode VII as VIP guests of J.J. Abrams
- Winner will have the opportunity to meet members of the cast
- Winner and their guest will then be transformed by makeup and costume teams into a Star Wars character and filmed for a scene in Star Wars: Episode VII

Now, if that's not a pretty cool grand prize, we don't know what is. And, really, the best part of all of this, is that Lucasfilm is going to raise a TON of much-needed money to benefit some of the world’s most vulnerable children.

You're going to want to make sure to watch the video above, as it features Abrams on the Abu Dhabi set (Tatooine) and gives us our first look at some new 'Star Wars' characters walking around the background! And, hey, you could be one of those characters, so head over to and donate today.

'Star Wars: Episode 7' opens in theaters on December 18, 2015.
