Although Lucasfilm and Disney decided that the old Star Wars Expanded Universe will no longer be considered canon moving into the new era of the franchise, there’s still a fairly large and ever-growing Star Wars universe — between the classic films, prequels, the new trilogy and its spinoffs, the books and TV shows, we have a lot of story to consider. Thankfully, someone made a handy infographic to put all of these bits of the franchise in chronological order.

The infographic comes from OuterPlaces, and puts all of the current Star Wars stories on the timeline in chronological order in BBY (before the Battle of Yavin) and ABY (after the Battle of Yavin) format — there’s the original trilogy, of course, as well as the sequels, the new novels and comic books, video games, animated series, and finally, the new trilogy and its spinoffs.

After Disney acquired Lucasfilm, the studios decided to take the previously existing Star Wars Expanded Universe — which included its own books, games, and various supplementary stories — and remove them from official canon. Instead, we have a whole new expanded universe of Star Wars media, which will hopefully streamline things a bit.

There are two things to consider about this infographic: first, the release date for the Han Solo movie is incorrect (the actual release date is May 25, 2018); second, while these stories are in chronological order, that doesn’t necessarily mean you should digest them in that order. You’d prefer to watch the classic trilogy before the prequels, for instance — or, you know, ignore the existence of the prequels at all.
