Now in the back half of 2015, we have officially entered the Star Wars-dominated portion of the year as we prepare for the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The franchise and its canon encompasses a vast universe filled with planets both peaceful and dangerous, and like the canon itself, it can sometimes be hard to keep track of all of those places. A new interactive map lets you explore that galaxy far, far away to prepare for the release of The Force Awakens.

The map is officially located at StarWarsGalaxy.co, and while there have been other interactive maps over the years, this one is very inclusive, featuring planets and locations from the first six Star Wars movies as well as the Expanded Universe. When they partnered up for the new trilogy, Disney and Lucasfilm dismissed the established EU in an attempt to streamline Star Wars canon and build a new universe of movies, books, comics and more.

But for those who are fans of the old EU, you’ll find all the places from those stories along with the firmly established locations from the core universe.  It’ll definitely help you brush up on your Star Wars knowledge before The Force Awakens hits theaters on December 18.
