New ‘Star Wars Rebels’ Finale Trailer: ‘We’ve All Lost Enough Family to the Empire!’

Disney’s Star Wars Rebels seems ready to light a “Fire Across the Galaxy” by its first season finale, one Darth Vader himself looks to be answering. The newest full trailer for Monday’s finale keeps the main man-machine in the shadows, but offers our longest look yet at Star Wars Rebels‘ defining installment.

Kanan still a captive of the Inquisitor and Grand Moff Tarkin, the Ghost crew will need to make a deadly decision by Star Wars Rebels first season finale “Fire Across the Galaxy” (don’t worry, it’ll be back for Season 2), using every trick in the book to rescue their Jedi leader. The full-length trailer promises some impressive visuals for the outing, along with a major lightsaber battle between Kanan, Ezra and the Inquisitor, and even some funky TIE art, why not!

Disney XD hasn’t offered any conclusive word on when Season 2 of Star Wars Rebels will premiere, though at least some details are expected from Star Wars Celebration in April, if not an early look at the newest episodes. If any of the latest rumors prove accurate, we’ll also be in for some major Clone Wars connections and Original Trilogy cameos as well.
