The Flash

Based on the long-running DC Comics series, and spun off from the popular CW TV series ‘Arrow,’ ‘The Flash’ follows the adventures of the fastest man alive. During a freak lightning storm, forensic scientist Barry Allen is doused with electrified chemicals in his lab at the Central City Police Department. When he wakes from his coma he discovers he can move at super-speed, and decides to use his newfound powers to become a masked vigilante with the assistance of Dr. Harrison Wells and his staff at S.T.A.R. Labs. This is actually the second television show based on ‘The Flash’; the first aired on CBS for a single season in 1990.

No 'Supergirl' Crossover With 'Legends of Tomorrow' Either
Long before Supergirl premiered, CBS cast doubt on the likelihood of Kara crossing over with Arrow or The Flash just yet, an idea recently revisited when executive producer Greg Berlanti shot down a rumored Barry Allen appearance.
