Every Connection in the Tarantino Cinematic Universe
Most Quentin Tarantino fans know that John Travolta’s character in Pulp Fiction is supposedly the brother of Michael Madsen’s character from Reservoir Dogs. But did you know that’s just one example of many, many connections across generations in the Tarantino Cinematic Universe? That’s right; before Marvel made the notion of an interconnected movie universe popular, Quentin Tarantino was already doing it more than 20 years ago.
The video below from ScreenCrush’s Ryan Arey and Samir Nikocevic compiles all the connections between Tarantino movies and universes — because technically there are two universes in QT’s movies, the real world (where films like Reservoir Dogs are set) and the movie world (where Kill Bill is set — basically the characters in Reservoir Dogs could hypothetically to see Kill Bill at the movie theater). The connections go from the beginning of Tarantino’s career all the way up to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
