It’s hard to believe, but Pixar has been releasing films for 20 years. Beginning with Toy Story in 1995, the animation studio has delivered wonderful, funny, touching and inspiring movies for two decades. Their upcoming film The Good Dinosaur continues the tradition of creating delightful unlikely friendships, and in the spirit of that idea, the latest featurette for Pixar’s latest highlights 20 years of magical friendships.

From Toy Story to Monsters, Inc. to Up and everything in between, Pixar has made a habit of taking two characters and having them overcome their personality (and sometimes species!) differences to work together, crafting memorable and poignant and funny stories. The Good Dinosaur will also unite two very different characters: Arlo the friendly dinosaur and his pet human, Spot.

Pixar’s latest takes place in a world where dinosaurs never went extinct, and instead must co-exist with human beings. The new featurette not only highlights Pixar’s established classics, but gives us a sneak peek at The Good Dinosaur with a little extra footage we haven’t seen before.

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?  Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo (voice of Raymond Ochoa) makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of.

The Good Dinosaur was directed by Peter Sohn and features the voice talents of Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Sam Elliott, Frances McDormand, Steve Zahn, Anna Paquin and AJ Buckley, and hits theaters on November 25.
