Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has made some solid Season 3 casting changes to date, but speaking of dates, ABC has officially granted one to Coulson and his team. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will officially return in late September, as revealed by ABC’s fall 2015 lineup.

According to the network, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will start its Season 3 mission on Tuesday, September 29, a week behind other ABC premieres like Castle on September 21, or the new Muppets mockumentary series on September 22. Also worth noting is that The 23rd will see the premieres of The Middle, The Goldbergs, Modern Family, black-ish and Nashville, while September 24 will see Shondaland Thursdays returning with Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder.

Elsewhere of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3, we know that series regulars Adrianne Palicki (Mockingbird) and Nick Blood (Lance Hunter) will also return, ABC having abandoned plans for a spinoff centered around the pair. The Avengers-adjacent drama will also form its own incarnation of the Secret Warriors storyline, presumably also helping build up to Captain America: Civil War, and breaking midway for Agent Carter Season 2.

We’ll see what Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has to offer at Comic-Con 2015 (and don’t forget Agent Carter!), but what can we expect from Season 3's late September premiere?
