‘American Horror Story’ Will Finally Murder One of the ‘Glee’ Kids for ‘Hotel’

Four seasons in, you might be surprised to realize Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story has never featured any of the main Glee cast, even in bit parts. Thankfully, Hotel will rectify this egregious omission, as Darren Criss will end up brutally murdered by Kathy Bates when American Horror Story Season 5 bows this fall.

Per E! Online, Criss has entered negotiations to guest in the Hotel Halloween installment as Silver Lake hipster Justin, who books a stay at the titular hotel with his girlfriend in hopes of escaping trick-or-treaters, only to end up on Kathy Bates’ bad side for demanding too much of room service. Bates’ character heads the establishment, and in turn offers “a Halloween trick they will never forget.”

Following the additions of New Girl star Max Greenfield, Cheyenne Jackson and Lady Gaga, the Hotel cast thus far includes returning Coven alum Kathy Bates, Angela Bassett, Asylum star Chloe Sevigny, Freak Show guests Finn Wittrock, Matt Bomer and Wes Bentley, and franchise regulars Lily Rabe, Denis O’Hare, Evan Peters and Sara Paulson. FX boss John Landgraf described American Horror Story Season 5 as an “unusually large reinvention” of the series, while Jessica Lange confirmed her exit, but remains open to appearances in future seasons.
