We were delighted enough to learn that 'Arrow' season 2 would tackle the DC lore of R'as al Ghul head on, but even moreso to learn that his "child" would play an integral role in the episodes to come! To that end, the CW-DC drama has added fellow 'Spartacus' star Katrina Law in the role of R'as al Ghul's daughter, but probably not the one you're thinking.

Via TVGuide, Law will take the role of Ghul's daughter Nyssa, rather than Talia, as famously (and hilariously) brought to life by Marion Cotillard in 'The Dark Knight Rises.' Law will first appear as Talia's half-sister Nyssa Raatko when the character pursues The Canary (Caity Lotz) to Starling City in the season's 13th episode "Heir to the Demon."

Not only that, but given that TVGuide is owned by CBS, parent company to The CW, we're lending a bit more credence to their half-joking comment about recent rumors suggesting Summer Glau's season 2 character will turn out to be Talia al Ghul, rather than fellow DC character Isabel Rochev. Also worth noting is that Katrina Law marks the third notable 'Spartacus' alum to guest on the series, following Manu Bennett's turn as Slade Wilson, and Cynthia Addai-Robinson's recent guest spot as Amanda Waller.

Well, what say you? Does the appearance of Nyssa suggest we might see R'as al Ghul before long? Who would you want to see fill the big cape? Watch the latest preview below, and give us your picks in the comments!
