Wednesday became all about 'The Flash' as 'Arrow' announced that the scarlet speedster would feature in his own CW pilot, rather than suit up later in the season, just before the first images of Grant Gustin's Barry Allen broke, but what of this week's "State V. Queen"? Find out what brings Vertigo ('Fringe' vet Seth Gabel) back in play in a brand-new clip from this week's latest installment!

The crooked Count Vertigo's return will feel surprisingly familiar to fans of 'Batman Begins,' as well as those watching 'Arrow' only a few short episodes ago, as we learn that the deadly dealer escaped from Iron Heights prison in the very same earthquake that freed the Dollmaker in "Broken Dolls." Since then, it seems Count Vertigo has found a means to get his signature drug into victims across the city, including Team Arrow's own John Diggle!

Here’s what The CW had to say of this week’s “State V. Queen”:

MOIRA FIGHTS FOR HER LIFE; THE COUNT RETURNS — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is concerned when a mysterious illness sweeps the city, infecting hundreds of people, including Diggle (David Ramsey). Oliver discovers Vertigo in Diggle’s blood and realizes The Count (guest star Seth Gabel) has broken out of prison and is once again distributing his drug.

We'll be on hand to cover "State V. Queen" with a full review, but in the meantime, check out a sneak peek of the latest 'Arrow' installment above, and give us your predictions in the comments!
