Tonight's all-new 'Arrow' installment, "Crucible," will see Oliver Queen going up against some brand-new DC foes, but we've been curious as to what will bring back Seth Gabel's crazy Count Vertigo, given the condition we last saw him in. The first press descriptions for Vertigo's return in "State V. Queen" have emerged, so who's under the influence of the deadly druglord this time around?

Taking yet another page from 'Batman Begins,' it seems as if Oliver will have an entire city of drug-addled Vertigo users to contend with as November 20 episode "State V. Queen" sees the infamous Count returning to distribute his deadly toxin once more. Says The CW of Gabel's return to the role in the coming season:

MOIRA FIGHTS FOR HER LIFE; THE COUNT RETURNS — Oliver (Stephen Amell) is concerned when a mysterious illness sweeps the city, infecting hundreds of people, including Diggle (David Ramsey). Oliver discovers Vertigo in Diggle’s blood and realizes The Count (guest star Seth Gabel) has broken out of prison and is once again distributing his drug.

Of course, that is to say nothing of The Count's condition in enacting said return, given "Unfinished Business" saw the character barely coherent after an earlier overdose of the vertigo drug. It seems as if Oliver's mother will have plenty of fear to face in her own right, as well, as DA Adam Donner ('Orphan Black''s Dylan Bruce) continues pursuing the death penalty in her case.

While we wait for Vertigo's return (and Barry Allen's first appearance on December 4, natch), check out the latest "Crucible" preview below, and give us your thoughts on 'Arrow' season 2 in the comments!
