Because why dream about the zombie apocalypse, or stockpile canned goods when you can get out to San Diego, and run amongst them yourselves?  We're pumped for 'The Walking Dead's presence at San Diego Comic-Con this year, from the panel to series creator Robert Kirkman's custom zombie-proof ride, but especially for 'The Walking Dead' Escape's zombie survival obstacle course!  Want to know where you can get tickets?

We reported previously on the 'The Walking Dead' themed zombie obstacle course that will take place adjacent to this year's San Diego Comic-Con, but now tickets are available!  One can partake as a survivor, or a walker, but now tickets are available to be "Spectators," observing all the carnage at a reduced ticket price.  Food and drinks will be available purchase and all spectators will receive a poster of the Walking Dead issue #100.

Those who take part in the event as survivors must “climb, crawl and slide in an effort to avoid confrontation by hordes of Walkers,” the official press release said, adding that “is not a race, and Survivors are not timed, but the end is near, and they must move swiftly.”  Though not officially affiliated with this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, ‘The Walking Dead: Escape’ conveniently syncs up by taking place July 12 through 15, with PETCO Park a mere 400 yards from the San Diego Convention center.

You can purchase a ticket to be a Spectator (or be devoured, if you so choose) HERE, so check it out and let us know in the comments if we'll see you in San Diego this July for 'The Walking Dead' Escape!
