'Community' creator Dan Harmon may not have enjoyed his year off from the series in season 4 (read: he despised it), but at it seems at least one positive from the season will return for season 5. Not only will '21 Jump Street' star Brie Larson return as a person of interest to one Abed Nadir, but so too will the cameo-heavy installment feature 'Terminator' and all-around genre vet Robert Patrick, among others.

Via TVLine, Larson will reprise her role as the adorkable coat check girl Rachel from season 4 episode "Herstory of Dance," appearing in season 5 for yet another Greendale dance, this time centered around mid-terms. Perhaps tellingly however, Larson will appear in the episode immediately following Donald Glover's exit from the season, likely to help Abed (Danny Pudi) fill the void. Metaphorically.

“There’s a nice reason for her comeback,” said Pudi of Larson's return. “It’s a nice wrap-up to the storyline for Abed in this episode. And it’s a really great way to see another side of this character — especially this year with Troy leaving." In addition to Larson's return, the episode will also see 'Criminal Minds' actress Paget Brewster in a guest role, along with Robert Patrick, Ben Folds (yes, that Ben Folds) and Kumail Nanjiani.

Elsewhere, ‘Community’ season 5′s likely 2014 return will see Nathan Fillion as a mysterious janitor, ‘Justified‘ star Walton Goggins guest as a mysterious man who causes trouble for the Greendale gang, along with ‘Breaking Bad‘ star Jonathan Banks as Annie's criminology Professor Hickey, returns from LeVar Burton, John Oliver’s Professor Duncan and comedian Rob Corddry as Jeff’s lawyer-rival Alan Connor. Chevy Chase will not return for the fifth season, while Donald Glover will eventually depart to develop his own FX series, ‘Atlanta.’
