Gears of War Producer Makes to the Jump to BioWare

Gears of War: Judgment
Epic Games

Chris Wynn, producer on Gears of War: Judgment, has left Epic Games to work on the next Mass Effect with BioWare.

Wynn announced his move on Twitter, revealing that he’s going to be the Senior Development Director on BioWare’s next Mass Effect game.

Epic Games has seen a number of personnel leave over the last year of so, including Cliff Bleszinski and Rod Regusson, and Wynn’s departure is just the latest for the company. According to CVG, Wynn worked as a development director on EA Sports titles from 2003 to 2009 before joining up with Epic Games in August 2012 to work on Judgment.

Little is known about BioWare’s next Mass Effect title, but we do know that it won’t focus on Commander Shepard and will run on the Frostbite 3 Engine used by Battlefield 4.
