It remains unclear exactly what (new) direction 'Glee' season 5 will take after its first three episodes, though we at least know the long-running FOX musical dramedy will maintain its light heart through the first two episodes of the coming run, paying tribute to The Beatles! The full songlists for premiere episode "Love, Love, Love" and "Tina in the Sky with Diamonds" has arrived, along with a spoilery synopsis of the story to come!

Via Entertainment Weekly, we've learned that FOX will release a 'Glee' Beatles album on September 24, two days before the actual September 26 premiere. So before the series delves into its Cory Monteith tribute, the fifth season premiere of 'Glee' will see the New Directions back in action to pay homage to the classic Beatles catalog, while Blaine and Kurt answer questions about their future together, and Rachel’s New York ambitions "take an unexpected turn.”

The following week, "Tina in the Sky with Diamonds" will continue the Beatles tribute with the students voting for prom queen and king, Tina herself fielding a nomination, before her attitude begins alienating the group. Elsewhere, Rachel adjusts to a new attitude while she and Santana work at a Broadway diner to make ends meet. Kat Dennings cameo, anyone?

All told, 'Glee's Beatles tribute album will contain the below tracks, most (if not all) of which will appear in the initial two episodes of the season:

1. “Yesterday”
2. “Drive My Car”
3. “Got To Get You Into My Life”
4. “You’ve Got To Hide Your Love Away”
5. “Help”
6. “A Hard Day’s Night”
7. “I Saw Her Standing There”
8. “All You Need Is Love”
9. “Get Back”
10. “Here Comes the Sun”
11. “Something”
12. “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band”
13. “Hey Jude”
14. “Let It Be”

In addition to its series regular exits, ‘Glee’ season 5 will feature prior recurring cast members Melissa Benoist (Marley), Jacob Artist (Jake), Becca Tobin (Kitty) and ‘The Glee Project‘ alumni Blake Jenner and Alex Newell ascending to series regular. ‘American Idol‘ runner-up Adam Lambert will also take a role as Kurt’s new NYC rival, while Demi Lovato will take a major recurring role and ‘Spring Awakening’ star Phoebe Strole guests as a new love interest for Sam.

You can get an early look at the 'Glee' premiere in the preview below, and tell us if you'll check out the September 26 premiere! Will the first two installments provide any insight into Finn's tribute episode, "The Quarterback?"
