Just when we thought that 'Homeland' season 3 couldn't get any bigger, the Showtime security series has added even more guest stars to its ranks. The latest to enter the fray of Carrie Matheson (Claire Danes)'s post-terror world are that of 'Iron Man' franchise star Shaun Toub, as well as 'Boss' star Martin Donovan, but who will they be playing?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, who first revealed the castings, Donovan will take the mysterious role of Bennett, a partner in a white shoe Washington D.C. law firm, while Toub will portray the "heavily" recurring role of high level Middle Eastern intelligence officer  Majid Javadi.

Along with the recent additions of Tracy Letts, Joanna Merlin, Nazanin Boniadi, Amy Morton, Lawrence Clayton, Sam Underwood, Gary Wilmes and 'Game of Thrones' season 4 star Pedro Pascal, season 3 of ‘Homeland’ will see David Marciano (Virgil) and Diego Klattenhoff (Mike) stepping down as series regulars to take reduced roles, while Morena Baccarin will reprise her series regular role as Jessica Brody, in spite of her wrongly accused husband’s absence.

‘Homeland’ season 3 picks up during the aftermath of the horrific terror attack that decimated the US intelligence apparatus, and prompted a global manhunt for the world’s most wanted terrorist — Nick Brody. As Carrie and Saul begin to pick up the pieces of their shattered professional and personal lives, they are swept up in the political and media firestorm surrounding the terror attack and the subsequent search for Brody’s whereabouts.

'Homeland' season 3 will premiere on September 29 alongside Showtime's newest drama 'Masters of Sex,' but what say you? Are you excited to see what the terrorism drama cooks up in season 3, or have the guest stars begun to overshadow the plot?
