Many a 'True Blood' fan wondered where Anna Camp's Sarah Newlin drove off to at the end of the season, having been spared a bullet from Jason Stackhouse, and now we know: Farhampton! 'How I Met Your Mother''s ninth and final season has recruited Camp for a potentially recurring role as a troublesome wedding guest, but what happened to 'The Office' star Ellie Kemper's original commitment to the role?

Via TVLine, Kemper apparently experienced a scheduling conflict that forced her to bow out of the role, leading producers to pick up the unattached Anna Camp as Cassie, “one of the most attractive, available, and — as Ted discovers — unfortunate guests at Barney and Robin’s wedding.” Camp has only signed for a solitary episode, though the character may prove recurring over the course of the final season.

Meanwhile, the final season of ‘How I Met Your Mother’ has recruited such guest stars as ‘Revenge‘ star Roger Bart, Sherri Shepherd, Wayne Brady and John Lithgow reprising their roles as Barney’s half-brother James and biological father Jerry. In addition to clarifying the final season’s wedding weekend format and releaseing new promos, clips and photos, CBS also revealed that all four regulars would meet the mother (Cristin Milioti, herself a newly minted regular) prior to Ted.

It's a shame Kemper had to bow out, but who doesn't need more Anna Camp in their lives? Check out the first promo from 'How I Met Your Mother''s ninth and final season below, and give us your predictions for the September 23 premiere in the comments!
