‘iZombie’ Season 2 Trailer: ‘What I Wouldn’t Give For a Piece of Your Brain Right Now!’

Anxious though we are to see Arrow and The Flash speeding out their fall 2015 trailers, fellow comic imprint iZombie managed to shuffle right past the DC heroes with a first Season 2 sneak peek. It’s a whole new status quo for Liv, but whose brains are on the menu this time around?

Not every finale cliffhanger makes it into the first footage from iZombie Season 2, as there’s no sign of Major or Liv’s brother just yet, but we do have a new case on the menu, as Liv (Rose McIver) investigates a frat boy’s death. Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) is back to looking like a zombie, despite having been “cured” last season, while we also get another look at Stephen Weber’s Max Rager president Vaughn Du Clark, who created the product that gives rise to the dead.

The CW also released a brand-new poster for the Season 2 premiere, which we’ve included below. Try not to spill any brains in the meantime, but iZombie Season 2 will premiere on October 6, just behind new episodes of The Flash. Snack on the above trailer while we wait!
