Last night brought the most Marvel-ous 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' installment yet with the arrival of 'Thor''s Lady Sif (Jaimie Alexander), but future episodes aren't lacking for more major Marvel additions. Following next week's Marvel TV special on ABC, which will include the first look at 'The Avengers 2,' 'Heroes' star and cartoon Iron Man voice Adrian Pasdar will put in an appearance as frequent Hulk military antagonist Glenn Talbot!

According to Marvel.com, Pasdar will first appear in the role of Air Force Colonel Glenn Talbot in an upcoming 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' episode, though those viewing next week's ABC special 'Marvel Studios: Assembling a Universe' will see the character debut in a brief snippet. Notably, Josh Lucas portrayed an incarnation of the character in Ang Lee's 2003 'Hulk,' while the canonical MCU's 'The Incredible Hulk' excluded him, and Marvel has seemingly distanced itself from associated Hulk characters since.

In the comics, Talbot is a frequently-seen military antagonist of the Hulk, usually under the command of General Ross, whom William Hurt portrayed in the most recent film. He has also been romantically tied to Bruce Banner's love interest Betty Ross, who similarly has not been seen since the 2008 movie, as portrayed by Liv Tyler. For his part, Adrian Pasdar is best remembered as Nathan Petrelli of NBC's 'Heroes' franchise, though he also provides the regular voice of Tony Stark/Iron Man in Marvel's current crop of animated series.

We're impressed to see 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' beefing up its supporting characters with recognizable Marvel names, but what say you? Does Adrian Pasdar's upcoming appearance as Colonel Glenn Talbot suggest we might see more Hulk-related stories in the future? Tell us what you think of the latest 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' addition in the comments, after a preview of next week's special below!
