SNL alum Tina Fey and Amy Poehler certainly commandeered some spotlight away from Star Wars with a dual-hosting close to 2015, but Kylo Ren may have the last laugh. The Force Awakens and Girls star Adam Driver will make his SNL hosting debut in January, the first not-ready-for-primetime player lead of 2016.

NBC confirmed that Driver would host the January 16 outing of SNL’s 2016 return, though no official musical guest has been set. Driver’s Girls co-star Lena Dunham hosted back in 2014, though the Star Wars star was jokingly portrayed by Taran Killam in a Girls-themed sketch.

No doubt the majority of Star Wars fans will have seen The Force Awakens by January 16, but what can we expect from Driver’s hosting debut? The actor’s other major role on Girls will return on February 21, but which most deserves parody?

Stay tuned for our full write-up of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s 2015 closer, and keep it here to learn what musical guest accompanies Adam Driver in his SNL debut for the 2016 opener.
