You either love '50 Shades of Grey' or you're dreading the day when this 'Twilight' fan fiction turned movie will hit the big screen. Regardless, after what seems like forever since the idea for the film version was first announced, E.L. James might finally see her masterpiece in theaters as soon as next summer.
50 Shades of Grey
Little movement on the 'Fifty Shades of Grey' movie has been made since Focus Features acquired the rights to the series of books in a blockbuster deal last year. Since then there have been lots of rumors about who would direct and who would star in the film. One of the most popular rumors was that Mila Kunis would star in the film as Anastasia Steele but up until now there was no substance to the news. Now, as she's promoting 'Oz, the Great and Powerful,' Kunis says she's definitely aware of the rumors and they're not entirely untrue.
So what's this '50 Shades of Grey' thing you keep seeing everywhere? Women all around you are reading it -- ladies on the bus, that khaki-pantsed woman clutching her pearls in the coffee shop, your mom. And now they're making it into a movie.
Lucky for you, I read this thing so you don't have to.
