If you weren’t particularly sold by the first trailer for Star Trek Beyond, then you may find the latest preview for Justin Lin’s sequel far more persuasive. It has a bit of everything: emotion, drama, epic intergalactic action, and Idris Elba as a menacing new villain unlike any the crew of the Enterprise has faced before. One thing is clear: this isn’t your average Trek mission.

Most people probably don’t take the idiom ‘come hell or high water’ to the same extremes as Chris Pine and Ben Foster in their latest movie. While nothing may stop them from saving their family farm, Jeff Bridges’ Texas Ranger won’t let them get away with how they do.

For decades, there’s been a clear delineation of roles in the Affleck clan: Ben’s the leading man, Casey’s the character actor. But that’s not the case with the new historical adventure The Finest Hours. There’s nothing quirky or unconventional about Affleck’s charisma here. Even with a more traditional leading man co-anchoring the story and serving as its de facto protagonist, Affleck commands the screen with quiet, steely resolve and intense eyes. At 40 years old, he’s blossomed into a full-fledged movie star.

Warner Bros. has been revealing some new promotional materials ahead of tonight’s big Dawn of the Justice League event on The CW, which will offer a new Suicide Squad trailer, our first look the united Justice League and maybe even a sneak peek or two at Wonder Woman (fingers crossed). Until then, WB has debuted the official logo for Diana’s upcoming film, and it looks very…metal. Like, literally metal, but also maybe sort of figuratively metal?

Although we’ve already seen the first official trailer for Star Trek Beyond, there’s still plenty we don’t know about the upcoming sequel, directed by Justin Lin and co-written by star Simon Pegg. A new set video with the cast sheds a little more light on what we can expect from Beyond, including some new weapons and uniforms and one very intriguing secret regarding John Cho’s Sulu.

Not that we exactly needed someone to confirm the World War I setting of Wonder Woman, given the leaked set photos and the persistent rumors that the film divides its time between WWI-era and modern-day, but just in case you wanted something more official, Chris Pine has confirmed the movie's time period and — as a bonus — is teasing a possible cameo from iconic Wonder Woman TV star Lynda Carter.

Yes, Star Wars: The Force Awakens finally opens in theaters this Friday, and we know you’re all excited. But, if you’re excited for J.J. Abrams’ other space franchise, we have good news for you: the first trailer for Star Trek Beyond has arrived.

As has been heavily rumored since last year, we know that at least part of the Wonder Woman solo film will take place during World War I, a fact supported by the first set photo of Chris Pine and co-star Said Taghmaoui, and reiterated by the latest batch of images from the set of the highly-anticipated solo superhero outing. The new photos reveal what Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince looks like in WWI-era civilian clothing and give us another look at Pine.

While we still don’t know much about the plot or new characters of Star Trek Beyond, we do know this: we’ll be able to see whatever happens in the upcoming film on the biggest screen possible, as Paramount has officially revealed plans to release the third Star Trek film in IMAX. Now, if they’d just tell us anything else about this movie…

It’s official: as evidenced last week by a set photo featuring Chris Pine, production on Wonder Woman is underway with director Patty Jenkins, and Warner Bros. has released the first official photo of Gal Gadot as the titular superhero. In addition, the studio has announced several new cast members, including Danny Huston, David Thewlis and Robin Wright.
