With a new adventure comes new friends (and foes), and Dory will be meeting a whole host of unfamiliar faces in Finding Dory, Pixar’s long-awaited follow-up to Finding Nemo. As the title suggests, it’s the endearingly absent-minded blue fish who takes the spotlight this time around, but you’re already well-acquainted with Dory and her pals. It’s time to get to know a few of the other characters we’ll meet in the upcoming sequel.

The CGI in Jon Favreau’s adaptation of The Jungle Book looks incredible — though it is a little strange to see the animals actually speak, as you can in the first clip from Disney’s epic new adventure. The sneak peek introduces us to the fearsome and ferocious tiger Shere Khan, voiced by Idris Elba, and while it’ll take some adjusting to hear these famous voices coming out of the mouths of gorgeous animals, Elba is inarguably the perfect voice for Khan.

Disney’s live-action update of The Jungle Book looks absolutely gorgeous, and if nothing else, the trailers for Jon Favreau’s new adaptation of the beloved classic promises some incredible CGI — perhaps even better than Ang Lee’s Life of Pi. We’ll have to wait until next month to be certain, but until then, Disney has released some pretty cool new photos featuring the voice cast posing alongside their respective CG animal characters.

Disney has released a new TV spot for The Jungle Book, offering a fresh look at Jon Favreau’s live-action / CGI adventure with a little bit of new footage thrown in for good measure. Titled “Live the Legend,” the spot opens with Ben Kingsley’s Bagheera, the panther mentor of young Mowgli, explaining the (bare?) necessity of returning the boy to the jungle.

The 2016 Screen Actors Guild (or SAG) Awards were held last night, honoring the best in last year’s movies and television. Unlike the Oscars, the SAG Awards were a bit more diverse this year, with Idris Elba winning acting prizes for his roles in Beasts of No Nation and Luther. Meanwhile, Spotlight took home the award for Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture, which is basically the SAG’s Best Picture award.

Disney’s next animated release is Zootopia, and while the trailers have yet to really sell this thing (save for a couple of solid sight gags), the studio has released two new clips along with the final trailer to get you in the mood for some wacky animal shenanigans. The first trailer for Star Trek Beyond arrived this week, teasing big action, new characters, and a possible return to the franchise’s fun roots. We’ll have to wait until next summer to see what Fast and Furious vet Justin Lin cooked up for the flailing series, but the director isn’t making us wait much longer to hear about Idris Elba’s mysterious new villain character.

Sure, Sherlock has his upcoming Victorian special and a fourth season beyond that, while Idris Elba’s Luther will make a grand mini-series return, and Gillian Anderson’s The Fall also readies another run, but forget all that. The real money’s in crossover!
