The announcement of a fourth season for the Emmy-nominated Transparent also brought with it word that Season 3 would premiere earlier than usual in the year. So it is, that Season 3 has a late September premiere date on Amazon, with the first photos already here.

Bad Moms looks like something akin to The Hangover but, you know, for moms. It's a fair comparison, since the new comedy was written by the guys who brought you The Hangover. In keeping with the good mom / bad mom theme, STX has released green and red band trailers — just in case you feel like Kathryn Hahn's declaration of "I say we go punch that chick right in the t—" is a little too NSFW for your delicate sensibilities. Whatever it is, Bad Moms is definitely not for kids.

Criminally short in its offering only ten half-hour episodes, Amazon’s Emmy and Golden Globe-winning Transparent finally set a December premiere for its second season, but only now brings out the first trailer. FOX’s Family Guy has never lacked for star power in its seasonal guest roster, and Season 14 should prove no exception, even in live-action. That’s right, series star Mila Kunis will loan out husband Ashton Kutcher for a live-action Family Guy short, while other guest stars run the gamut between Neil deGrasse Tyson and Margaret Cho.

It’s a wonder Showtime’s Happyish (previously Trending Down) made it through a first season at all, following the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman and subsequent retooling with Steve Coogan in the lead, but now that persistence seems to have worn off. Showtime has officially canceled Happyish, and we’re only sort of sad-ish about it.

My favorite line in this trailer for ‘She’s Funny That Way,’ the new film by Peter Bogdanovich (and his first in eight years), is “This is all very confusing.” Because it is! It took me two viewings to start to pin it all down. So Owen Wilson plays a theater director, who hires a prostitute (Imogen Poots). She only, uh, “escorts” to pay the bills while she tries to make it as an actress, and then she’s hired to star in Wilson’s new play. And then Will Forte (who, according to Wikipedia, is the play’s writer) falls for Poots, and then Kathryn Hahn is involved as well (Wikipedia, which is never wrong, says she plays Wilson’s wife). So everyone is either working with or sleeping with everyone else. Shenanigans!
