'The Walking Dead' gives us January to recuperate from the events of midseason 4 finale "Too Far Gone," but the dead will be upon us again soon enough, starting with the February 9 premiere! The first photo of Rick and Carl's post-prison adventures have emerged, and something tells us Carl needs to start taking his own advice.

Similar to the first trailer, the latest photo from 'The Walking Dead' season 4's latter half places a strong emphasis on Carl as he navigates a suburban community in search of shelter, RIck likely faring the worse for wear. Of course, where the season 4B poster told us not to look back, Carl does exactly that, ignoring the walkers directly in front of him!

It remains to be seen when we'll catch up with the other survivors, though we at least know of a trio of new faces to cross paths with one of the divided groups. The Governor certainly won't be back (or will he?), meaning the survivors will likely encounter some new dangers out on the open road, as well.

You can catch up with the latest 'Walking Dead' season 4 return trailer above, along with the new photo below. Tell us in the comments what you're most looking forward to when 'The Walking Dead' returns to AMC on February 9!
