‘The Walking Dead’ Season 3 Gets Up Close and Personal with New Character Portraits
Fans eagerly anticipating 'The Walking Dead' season 3 had best get themselves ready, as the upcoming season of AMC's zombie-killer thriller is going to get seriously dirty, and that isn't a metaphor. 'The Walking Dead' season 3 will pick up some months after the events of season 2 finale "Beside the Dying Fire," and it looks like life on the road hasn't been kind to the group's hygiene. So while AMC releases new character portraits of the coming season, what can we learn?
With 'The Walking Dead' set to screen for press any day now in advance of its October 14 debut, AMC has released a slew of new character portraits to for the coming season, which highly just how haggard our favorite survivors have become. Time has certainly allowed for Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson) and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) to grow their hair out in stylish (and beardly) fashion, but the real question remains, just who keeps Glenn and Maggie so well-groomed?
Hopefully the survivors will find some solace (and sanitation) within the walls of the prison once they've cleared out the herds of inmate walkers within, but salvation won't last long as the ominous stares of both The Governor (David Morrissey) and returning Merle Dixon (Michael Rooker) would suggest.
