The final moments of The Walking Dead’s most recent finale left us wondering where next Rick might push the safe haven of Alexandria, now that Deanna seems to have come around to more brutal methods. That attitude is all over The Walking Dead Season 6's character portraits, as Alexandria looks ready to go to war … but with whom?

As released  over various outlets today, the latest look at The Walking Dead Season 6 serves up stylish new key art of about half the cast, including Rick, Carl, Daryl, Maggie, Michonne, Glenn, Abraham, Sasha, and our beloved Carol. Gone are the days of hiding weapons in the Alexandria armory, but will the more docile citizens be ready to take up arms when the Wolves come a-knockin’?

Elsewhere of The Walking Dead Season 6, we know that Straight Outta Compton star Corey Hawkins has joined the series in the comic role of Alexandria runner Heath, alongside new additions Ethan Embry and Merrit Wever. AMC has also released clips and a few photos, amid previews of a fleshed-out comic backstory, while we’ve broken down the Season 6 trailer and previewed exactly how disgusting walkers will look, and all before digital FX.

Not only that, but Season 6 will also host installments of a half-hour special set on an airplane, a character of which will go on to a role in Fear The Walking Dead Season 2. Season 6 has also been observed casting two major comic characters to play a larger role in the second half of the season, while three Alexandria residents have also been elevated to regular.

We’ll see more of The Walking Dead Season 6 on the road to October, so check out the trailers again below, and stay tuned for the latest from cast and crew.
