You'd think we'd get tired of posting 'American Horror Story: Asylum' teasers day in and day out, and...well, you'd be half-right, but if FX wanted to go through the trouble of making 3,000 of them, who are we to turn our noses?  We like to believe that every teaser serves up at least some kind of clue, so what does the "Hellevator" have to do with 'American Horror Story: Asylum?'  Might there be new terrors on the floors below?

Another day has passed, meaning another 'American Horror Story: Asylum' teaser has hit the webs to chill our bones and teach us...well, probably nothing about the coming season of Ryan Murphy's horror anthology.  Still, they're always fun to watch and speculate on, as here we see a bound figure in a padded cell, who flails about as the camera pans out to reveal we're in an elevator of some kind!

Well, it's better than a fork, anyway.

Debuting on Wednesday, October 1, ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ boasts a cast that includes ‘The Bourne Identity’ actress Franka Potente, ‘The Voice‘ judge and Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, ‘Step Up’s Jenna Dewan,‘Carnivale’ star Clea DuVall, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man‘ star Chris Zylka, Americanized ‘Skins’ star Britne Oldford, ‘Big Love’s Chloe Sevigny, French actress Lizzie Brochere, Joseph Fiennes and James Cromwell.

Also returning from the first season are Jessica Lange, upgraded  series regular Zachary Quinto, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson and Lily Rabe.  All will be playing new characters independent of the first season in the show’s rebooted 1960′s asylum setting, which Lange’s character presides over.

So what do we think it means?  The asylum was built on a Hellmouth?  Take a ride with the new teaser below, and tell us if you're up or down for ‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ in the comments!
