‘Arrow’ “Nanda Parbat” Preview: ATOM Arrives, Ra’s al Ghul Returns

If this past week’s Arrow installment “The Return” acted as a love letter to the series’ past, next Tuesday’s “Nanda Parbat” will bring us into the future. The completed A.T.O.M. suit arrives, as Oliver faces off with Ra’s al Ghul once more in the full round of photos from from next week’s latest Arrow, “Nanda Parbat!”

Granted we’ve already been given a look at Brandon Routh’s fancy new super-suit, next Tuesday’s “Nanda Parbat” will see the completed A.T.O.M. making its formal debut, even as Felicity attempts to draw Ray out of his building fervor. Meanwhile, Oliver and Diggle attempt to liberate Malcolm from Ra’s al Ghul’s stronghold in the titular city, though the “Demon’s Head” is far from unprepared for another fight.

So reads The CW’s official press description for “Nanda Parbat”:

Malcolm (John Barrowman) is captured by Ra’s al Ghul (guest star Matt Nable) and taken to Nanda Parbat. Because of his love for Thea (Willa Holland), Oliver (Stephen Amell) considers saving Merlyn. Ray (Brandon Routh) is obsessed with finishing his Atom suit so he can save the city but Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) fears he is heading down the same path as Oliver (Stephen Amell) and tries to pull him out of the lab.

We might not expect to see the A.T.O.M. suit in full action just yet, considering the story’s central focus elsewhere, but take a closer look at the newest superhero on the Arrow block via the photos above and trailer below, and get ready to visit “Nanda Parbat” next Wednesday on The CW!
